Eurobasket 2009.

The European Championship Eurobasket 2009. was the 36th competition held by FIBA Europe. The tournament, which was hosted by Poland, lasted from 7 September till 20 September 2009.
The competition served as a qualification tournament for the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey.
The four semifinalists plus France and Croatia claimed the six European qualifying spots for the 2010 FIBA World Championship.

Final game was rematch of opening game for these teams. Serbia as underdog managed to catch 66-57 victory in previous match 13 days before final. Spain was in lead from the start and concieved confortable victory for their first European title.
